Based on a true story, Sarah, a research scientist at a New York City sperm bank moonlighting as a comedian, faces her hospital’s HR department after they discover a video of her stand-up where she divulges a little too much about her day job.

“Busted!” is a 13-minute short film/pilot/proof of concept written by and starring Sarah Adelman. The short is directed by Emily Everhard, a 2024 Sundance x Sloan Episodic Fellow, and produced by Lisa Cossrow, a DGA member & founder of Greater Dane Films.

The cast includes Sarah Adelman, the legendary Judy Gold, SNL’s newest cast member Emil Wakim, Savannah Desormeaux, and Dan Toomey.
